Back in the heart of Skopje, we continued our day with a journey through time in the Old Bazaar. Dating back to the 12th century, it is the oldest and largest bazaar in the Balkans. We had a wonderful lunch here at Kaj Serdarot. One of the must-tries while in North Macedonia is definitely the Macedonian-style baked beans, known locally as "tavche gravche." After enjoying this hearty meal alongside fresh shopska salad and warm bread, we felt energized and ready to continue exploring the city on foot.

Just after leaving the Old Bazaar, you will come across the iconic Stone Bridge, a 15th-century Ottoman structure that spans the Vardar River and connects the old town to the vibrant Macedonia Square.
